Doing What I Can

Last night I ended up working a lot later than I expected so I wasn’t able to get my extra cardio in.  Actually all this week has been long so I haven’t done the treadmill work I would like to and frankly, need to, in order to keep losing fat plus be ready for my long day with Team in Training on Saturday.  We are are scheduled to do 8 miles on Saturday morning which has the risk to be painful without putting in the miles during the week.   On the plus side, though, I was back in the Body Design gym for weight training and a little cardio this morning.  I’ll shoot for knocking out some good mileage tomorrow morning since it is an off day from weights.  I’m finding that real life gets in the way of the best laid plans sometimes – if not frequently – and we just have to do the best we can lest we give up from discouragement of not being “perfect”.
