Me Time

I was back at Body Design this morning for back and bicep exercises.  To be candid, I wasn’t really in the mood to go workout this morning.  I was distracted thinking about some fire drills at work and considered ditching the workout to go into the office.  However then I remembered something my trainer told me which is that I need to block out this hour (6-7AM YIKES) as MY time.  I like my job but like most jobs it will absorb every hour you will give it so you have to make yourself a priority and dedicate some time to taking care of yourself.   With that in mind, I rolled out of bed and headed to the gym at 5:25AM.  To be sure, I’d rather have ME time on the beach but until then I’ll have to settle for using the time to get my body in shape for that beach! 🙂
