The Dirty Little Secret of Green Beans

The good news is that Outback has recently rolled out an incredible new interactive nutrition data tool on their website.   For a long time, they didn’t publish anything of substance but now they have this cool tool that lets you pick your sides – even breaking out if it has different components such as butter and seasoning – and automatically calculates your totals.  The bad is that much of the great food at Outback is not even close to healthy.  The UGLY is that even food that should be nutritious like their steamed green beans comes in at a whopping 229 calories with 11 grams of fat!  On the plus side, the tool does tell you if you remove the butter then there is only 1 gram of fat.  What is the world coming to when you can’t trust an order of green beans to be good for you?!?
